The Investigation is a web series launched under Eros Now's new short format segment - Eros Now Quickie, where they will be showcasing 8-10 mins long episodic content.
Story:
The Investigation is a story about an investigation officer Vishal Gaikwad (Hiten Tejwani) who gets a murder case which is directly connected with him and he tries to solve the case in his own way. The story is divided into 9 short episodes. It is well presented and conceptualized. Two disappointing factors - there were no songs and not enough good dialogues. There are few comic elements and lots of twists and turns which make the story entertaining as well as engaging. Though the storyline is somewhat similar to Alt-Balaji's Apaharan, it's still a good watch.
Performances:
Hiten Tejwani makes a solid comeback with this web-series. It marks as his debut in the digital entertainment industry. He has performed perfectly well as the investigation officer. Leena Jumani played the role of Swati, the soon-to-be-divorced wife of ACP Vishal (Hiten Tejwani). Aryaman Seth portrayed the role of Anuj (the victim), Swati's boyfriend. Prakash Ramchandani as the fellow cop Sanap acted his part excellently. Sanap's wife (Priya Gamre) was the main comic element in the series. She played her role well.
Dialogues:
The only thing that lacked in this web series were the dialogues. There are not many impactful dialogues.

It's good as a one time watch.
